Under general supervision of the Operations Manager, supervises and performs the administrative duties for the Brigham and Women's Hospital parking systems, the auditing of transient parking revenue and operational effectiveness of the contracted parking staff.

1. Supervises the operation and maintenance of the hospital parking system. Verifies all transient parking revenue reports and ensures that approximately $10M of annual parking revenue is accounted for and reconciled. Investigates and reports all revenue discrepancies. Provides monthly reports to the Operations Manager and Director as well as timely communication of any urgent negative impacts to operations or finance.

Under established policies, procedures and management direction, supervises and performs responses to internal and external requests and inquires by patients, visitors, employees, vendors and affiliates.

2. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the parking system at all currently equipped lots and garages. Coordinates required work with vendors and suppliers to accomplish this task.

3. Plans, delegates and directly performs audits of parking revenue collection and operational effectiveness. Reports the results to the Operations Manager and Director. Acts as lead contact for Partners finance directives and audits directed outside the department.

4. Supervision of the parking equipment and software performance and maintenance. Oversees necessary upgrades, repairs or services to meet service standards. Assists the Operations Manager and Director for approval of payments for parking expenses and negotiation of fees.

5. Controls and supervises billing of parking fees, including the affiliated physician organization usage, validation programs, and others as assigned. Prepares supporting documentation, invoices and cost center information for billing for Operations Manager to review and submit.

6. Serves as the Debit Account Manager for all parking debit accounts. Supervises all account credits and debits and handles all inquiries and balance requests.

7. Prepares, programs, issues and controls all parking validation tickets, coupons and stickers. Documents and audits issuance and usage.

8. Provides and supervises the generation of memos, reports, statistics, and surveys for areas of responsibility.

9. Responsible for supporting and enforcing hospital and department policies and procedures. Participates in the development of departmental policies and procedures as appropriate.

10. Serves as a member of the Police, Security and Parking and assumes additional responsibilities delegated by management to clear urgent or emergency situations at Brigham Health campuses.

11. Discharges all other responsibilities, as the Operations Manager and Director may deem appropriate.

Works within legal, regulatory, accreditation and ethical practice standards relevant to the position and as established by BWH/Partners; follows safe practices required for the position; complies with appropriate BWH and Partners policies and procedures; fulfills any training required by BWH and/or Partners, as appropriate; brings potential matters of non-compliance to the attention of the supervisor or other appropriate hospital staff.

Qualifications
Associates Degree, Bachelors preferred

A minimum of five years of parking administration including supervisory experience and revenue control

Demonstrated cash and credit card handling skills

Good working knowledge of parking access and revenue control systems

Valid motor vehicle operator's license

Clean criminal record

Prior experience preparing financial and operational reports

Excellent computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and data entry skills

Excellent communication skills

The ability to work independently

The ability to handle stress and agitated customers

The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality concerning departmental matters
