Job Summary

  • Under the supervision of the VPSS Assistant Registrar and with coaching from current, experienced Degree Audit Coders, the Degree Audit Builder will provide support for the operational data processing needs of degree audits.
  • Consults with representatives from all IU campuses and academic units to build degree audits across multiple catalog years that are accurate, built to university standards, and are compliance with university policies.
  • May also be tasked with building Degree Maps.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
SKILLS

Required
  • Knowledge of and/or the ability to learn about Student and Advising business operations and processes, degree requirements, course prerequisites, and course scheduling
  • Demonstrated technical, analytical and problem-solving ability is required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary for working collaboratively and strategically within a diverse university environment
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and independent problem-solving skills

Work Location

This position is eligible for remote work, subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.

Work Hours

25 hours for approximately 6 to 9 months

8am and 5pm, Monday- Friday through the training and onboarding phases

After the onboarding phase, more flexible hours may be available
