Job Description:

POSITION: Part-Time Esports Head Coach: Athletics Department; Staff Assistant; Non-Unit Professional Position; 18 hours per week; Haverhill campus.

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will report to the Director of Athletics. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • All aspects of coaching an intercollegiate Esports program.
  • General knowledge of competitive video game titles (Overwatch, Rainbow Six: Siege, Rocket League etc.).
  • Familiarity with the usage of Discord/Twitch/YouTube.
  • Create positive rapport between students and ability to provide constructive feedback on gameplay. performance.
  • Scheduling.
  • Recruiting.
  • Able to ensure students are meeting expectations within Esports titles and curriculum.
  • Attending periodic meetings.



  • Associate's Degree or two years of college credit.
  • An appreciation for the community college experience and demonstrate a sincere commitment to principles of academic/athletic integrity.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.


  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Bilingual or Bi-cultural (English/Spanish).
  • Experience working with and supporting a culturally diverse, urban population in a Hispanic-Serving Institution.
