Description:
Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is a full-service, non-profit faith-based hospital, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and a member of Trinity Health.

Job Summary:

Assists in monitoring activities as directed and under the supervision of the RN; Assists with patient admission, discharge or transfer; Assists in patient's increased mobility; Maintains a clean and organized environment; Administers hygiene care to patients.

New Grads RNs can also apply if you have not taken the NCLEX as an opportunity to gain insight before applying to the Nurse Residency program.

Positions available in various departments.

We have modified Full Time positionson thedayshift (7AM-7:30PM)and night shift (7PM - 7:30AM) with benefits. There are also Per Diem options available for the same shifts (without benefits but with more flexibility).

Units available: Telemetry, CV ICU, Intermediate Care, Ortho, Surgical Telemetry

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • H.S. Graduate or a GED from anaccredited school is a requirement
  • Prefer Nursing student enrolled in ASN or BSN program

Experience & Skills:
  • Previous experience working as a PCT in an acute care facility is highly preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
  • Florida State CNA license or Fundamentals of Nursing required
  • BLS through AHA
