Description:

Patient Safety Companion - St. Peter's Hospital - Full Time - Days

We are seeking an individual to sit with the patient to ensure the patient does not try to walk on their own.
This individual would be responsible for informing the nurse if the patient has a need to move from bed.

The individual would not be involved in the direct care of the patient, but would be asked to perform such duties as reading to the patient, changing TV stations, and having conversation. The candidate would need to possess a kind and caring attitude.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience working with patients is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, polite, and courteous
