Holman has an exciting opportunity for an Analyst to join our growing Payroll team!

Objective:

This role supports Payroll leadership with oversight of payroll processing for a multi-business organization. Analyzes data and supports process improvements utilizing technology and business process automation.

General Responsibilities:

  • Run all end-to-end payroll processes.
  • Load and review payroll inputs, as received from finance leaders.
  • Troubleshoot processing issues related to payroll and timekeeping.
  • Perform a complete payroll register review each period; run audits to identify inaccuracies.
  • Perform benefits reconciliations and fund 401k contributions.
  • Post payroll-related GL entries and adjustments.
  • Export, review, and provide data to satisfy ad-hoc reporting and audit requests.
  • Work with 3rd party providers to correct tax, wage payment, or garnishment issues.
  • Utilize Workday to compile organized reports and create process efficiencies.
  • Research and test system upgrades to deploy; build custom reports as needed.
  • Experience with Workday or another HCM system is preferred, but not required.
  • Obtain and demonstrate working knowledge of our organization's varying pay structures.
  • Perform wage testing and provide recommendations based on results.

  • Reliable and timely project management, with a passion to deliver results.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills regarding all levels of employees.
  • Team-player attitude with the willingness to support other admins/analysts in the department.

Relevant Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, formulas, etc.).
  • Experience with an HCM system such as Workday is a plus, preferably in payroll or time tracking.
  • General understanding of accounting.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task to produce accurate results on a timely basis.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative, team-driven environment.
  • Strong logical problem-solving and analysis skills.
