CUMULUS MEDIA | Providence has an immediate opening for a part time Phone Screener/Producer to support the WPRO-FM Morning Show The ideal candidate will have some experience or education with Radio broadcasting, audio editing and social media platforms. Must be able to multitask and handle a fast-paced working environment. Candidate should be detail-oriented, prompt, and reliable. Must thrive on working as part of a team and respond well to direction.

Who We Are: CUMULUS| Providence, RI currently features 5 stations in the Providence metro area. WPRO-AM, WPRO-FM, Lite 105, Hot 106 and WPRV-AM. Our stations reach hundreds of thousands of listeners on a weekly basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Quickly answer and organize incoming phone calls, text messages, and social media comments for show hosts
• Be able to speak on the air and on the phone with confidence, courtesy and accuracy
• On time consistent arrival is essential
• Intensive call screening to put the host in touch with the best callers
• Contributing to content prep, edit audio, production, podcast clips and other duties related to the show
• Guest booking
• Assist with updating and maintain website/social media sites when necessary
• Must be able to multitask

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Proficient verbal telephone skills
• Available to work early weekday mornings
• Interest or experience with OCENAudio or Audacity a plus
• Time management and attention to detail
• Dependability and Promptness
• Courteous phone manner when interacting with listeners, guests and advertisers
