Responsibilities

  • Professionally represent ARS-Rescue Rooter to our customers including with visual, verbal and written expression.
  • Manage productivity on installation/service jobs by helping to coordinate logistics for materials and equipment and holding field staff accountable to job time frames
  • Maintain quality on installation/service jobs as measured by company standards, inspection pass rates and re-call rates.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction on installation/service jobs by ensuring thorough communication and as measured by customer surveys and referral rates.
  • Train and supervise field staff in installation/service methods and practices to achieve the above goals and to maintain safe practices.
ESSENTIAL TASKS
  • Coordinate and schedule, manpower, materials and equipment for productivity
  • Visit and inspect jobs for training purposes and to verify quality and safe practices
  • Attend and/or facilitate meetings to train field staff on procedures and practices
  • Provide technical assistance to mechanics as needed
  • Assist with interviewing and hiring of plumbers
  • Follow up with customers to address outstanding issues and ensure 100% satisfaction
  • Prepare and take action on reports detailing productivity, quality and customer satisfaction by job type and plumbing crew.
  • Assist with evening and weekend on-call coverage as necessary
  • Other related duties and tasks as needs arise

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in installing/servicing plumbing systems including water heaters and excavation jobs
  • Understanding and knowledge of hazards and safe practices on plumbing install and service jobs
  • Demonstrated ability to plan labor, materials and logistics to optimize productivity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including timely follow-up on needs/issues
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred and/or combined with demonstrated ability to work proactively with associates to improve job quality and productivity.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook applications
