The Department of Biobehavioral Health Sciences at the School of Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an associated faculty position on the non-tenure practice track in the Master of Science in Nutrition Science program.

We invite candidates who hold a PhD in nutritional science and the Registered Dietitian (RD) credential to apply to the Associated Faculty (practice track at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level).

Our new, groundbreaking Master of Science in Nutrition Science (MSNS) degree program is designed to meet the educational needs of multiple licensed health care professionals, trainees, and students seeking a rigorous graduate education in advanced nutrition science.

Qualifications
The faculty member will have teaching and some service responsibilities in our nutrition program. Interested parties must have:

• Experience in curriculum development/evaluation, academic teaching using multiple modalities (didactic, online) and working with interprofessional groups.
• Content expertise in micronutrient and macronutrient metabolism, medical nutrition therapy, and nutritional epidemiology.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assimilate numerous sources of complex information is required.
• Excellent writing skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills needed.
