Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

The Privacy Program Manager reports to the Director of Privacy and Trust. They will administer all global privacy risk management and data subject request activities of the Cradlepoint privacy team, as well as execute additional tasks as needed to advance the privacy team's strategic and tactical plans.

What Will You Do?

  • Privacy Program Management
    • Develop and manage program plans, schedules, milestones
    • Engage cross functionally with various organizations (R&D, Marketing, Sales, Support, Customer Success, Finance) required to deliver projects/initiative and drive results
    • Responsible for developing execution plans with key milestones based on the defined program objectives and deliverables
    • Responsible for surfacing risks, issues, and disconnects within the projects/initiative and managing all such issues to resolution
  • Lead and facilitate the Privacy Risk Management processes
    • Support appropriate Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) processes, delegating where necessary to the EU DPO for review
    • Support additional risk assessment processes (ie. Legitimate Interest Assessments, Transfer Impact Assessments, etc)
    • Support risk management processes for privacy function, including identification and risk response for identified risks or gaps across the BEWS organization
    • Develop appropriate training and support plans to ensure adoption throughout the organization
    • Maintain metrics related to risk assessments
  • Lead and facilitate the Data Subject Request (DSR) process
    • Develop and improve upon current processes
    • Ensure relevant stakeholders are trained appropriately
    • Process DSRs effectively and efficiently within regulatory guidelines
    • Maintain metrics related to DSRs
  • Lead Inventory and Data Mapping requirements
    • Ensure asset inventory and records of processing activities are updated according to GDPR Article 30 requirements
    • Ensure data flows are kept up to date
  • Support training and awareness activities for the privacy team
    • Provide support for the data protection awareness and training programs, including content on the data protection SharePoint site and public-facing content on Cradlepoint's Trust page of the website
    • Manage all communication to the Cradlepoint privacy team inbox, making sure all internal requests, complaints and queries are dealt with and/or assigned to the correct person or team and handled correctly
    • Provide regular updates and contribute to the dissemination of information about data protection and privacy as needed
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two to four (2-4+) years of privacy related experience
  • Seven to ten (7-10) years work experience
  • Adapt to shifting priorities, work well under pressure, and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation and facilitation capabilities
  • Proven self-starter and ability to work independently is a necessity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with and influence leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated program management experience with cross functional programs including defining, scheduling, tracking, communicating status and managing projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and understand a diverse set of organizations and functions
Bonus Points:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • CIPP (US or Europe) and/or CIPM certification
  • Knowledge of OneTrust privacy software
  • Experience doing Program Management in a matrix environment and/or multinational company

Compensation and Benefits at Cradlepoint

At Cradlepoint, we know that our people are the key to our success. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to help with your individual needs and goals.

Your Pay:

The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

  • $120,000-$189,000
Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of agreed to goals and objectives as determined by Cradlepoint's Senior Leadership team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Cradlepoint provides generous paid time off, including: 15 days of Flexible Time Off (FTO), four paid quarterly well-being days, and 11 paid annual holidays (includes nine company holidays and up to two floating holidays). Please note that an employee's FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date. Cradlepoint also offers paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
