Description: Our client, a Fortune 100 company, is currently seeking a Process/Industrial Engineer for their Distribution Center located in Reno, Nevada

What You'll Be Doing:

• You will be the link between the engineering, information technology, and the distribution center operations objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, process improvement, testing and deployment tasks of process/software changes within the Distribution Center.
  
• WMS/LMS processes expert (SME)
• Implementation of new Labor Management System (LMS)
• Help secure requirements, document operational procedures, build training documentation, brainstorm and cement testing scenarios for new functionality, coordinate discussions with key business stakeholders and drive signoffs with Distribution Operations and IT, and provide testing support to ensure solutions meet the requirements
• Document test scenarios for regression testing across the various applications used within the facility
• Schedule UAT testing windows to ensure that target timelines are met for the overall business
  
• User Support in troubleshooting both application and business process issues
• Engagement with Distribution Center Operations Leadership and providing status updates, and facilitating calls

What They're Looking For:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in process, logistics or distribution engineering roles within a Distribution Center
• Understanding of Warehouse/Distribution Logistics, and Labor management
• Experienced with the implementation of a WMS or LMS (Strategy, Process, Upgrading and Testing)
• Experienced with Red Prairie, or Manhattan Associates
• ERP experience (Oracle, SAP)
  
• Previous experience working for a large corporation
  
• Experience in technical writing: writing business documentation
• Proficient at developing and executing business process specific test scenarios; User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Experience
• Superior verbal and writing communication skills, interpersonal skills, strong adaptability skill and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment coordinating with internal customers to help support and enhance business systems
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment including the ability to work collaboratively with business users
• Ability to work independently on development projects
