Job Description
The Procurement Associate will be responsible for providing Procurement services support to WNET and helping to ensure that the Workday Procurement module is fully leveraged to support the business. As a key member of the Procurement team, the Procurement Associate's responsibilities will include support for purchasing activity, end users and P-Card transactions. The Procurement Associate will also provide back-up support for Fixed Term Labor, as needed. Specific responsibilities include:
* Ensure purchasing requests are processed correctly and in a timely manner;
* Review requisitions and invoices to ensure compliance with Procurement Policy;
* Manage supplier performance- incorrect shipments, delays, etc.;
* Work with Production and Administrative Departments on problem resolution and answer routine procurement questions; provide customer support for routine p-card problem resolution, guidance on use and document/compliance related questions;
* Conduct 3-way match on p-card transactions - Validate receipts against card Statements and WD transactions to identify potential discrepancies;
* Review p-card activity to identify errors or misuse and redirect spend to appropriate procure to pay method;
* As needed, provide support for Fixed Labor Resources including onboarding of fixed labor new hires and extensions of existing resources;
* Additional duties, as assigned.

Qualified candidates will be highly organized, detail oriented and skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees at all levels as well as with external vendors. Additional qualifications include:

* One year of experience in procurement or vendor services;
* Solid analytical skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize responsibilities;
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with solid capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint;
* Ability to meet deadlines.

Candidates with Workday experience are preferred.
