We are seeking a Salesforce Solutions Product Implementation Manager to help us fulfill that mission. Preference is to have this position located at the ACT Headquarters in Iowa City, Iowa. However, we will consider candidates who will work remotely in the US.

The Salesforce Solutions Product Implementation Manager is responsible for supporting Salesforce automations that promote a seamless transition from the sales process to product onboarding and adoption. This position serves as a ScrumMaster, Business Analyst, change management and process improvement expert, working collaboratively, as part of a cross-functional team, to plan, manage, and support the completion and implementation of prioritized backlog items. This is achieved through knowledge of business processes and supporting Salesforce configurations including custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflows, process builder, and approval processes. The ability to mitigate risks of upstream and downstream impacts through testing, troubleshooting and verification steps, as well as the ability to support stakeholders throughout the customer journey with a lens of solving customer pain points and continuous process improvement is critical.

What you will be working on:

  • Work directly with Salesforce Administrator and business stakeholders to understand business needs and improvement opportunities translating priorities into a consumable Agile backlog
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams and tools to facilitate feature deployment
  • Manage and track features, epics, and user stories (including acceptance criteria) in organizational tools (such as Jira)
  • Prepare users by conducting training, providing information, and resolving problems
  • Responsible for contributing to the Salesforce roadmap and management of development, implementation, and communication to business stakeholders, scrum teams, and other interested stakeholders
  • Lead, support, size, and inform continual improvement efforts to regularly, systematically, and incrementally enhance the business value delivered by the Salesforce platform
  • Keep current with system advances, technologies, and best practices
  • Document, test and implement enhancements to Salesforce such as custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflows, process builder, and approval processes
  • Create custom reports as necessary to support internal stakeholders
  • Applies the SAFe Agile Framework and software development best practices for Salesforce updates and deployments: Salesforce Flows, Use Cases and Testing, Environmental Stability (Sandbox, Stress, Production)
  • Act as a liaison across functional areas in order to overcome customer obstacles

  • Experience delivering Salesforce solutions to real customer problems, preferably with an emphasis on sales, customer service, and/or marketing issues
  • Experience with deployment and testing tools (Provar and Flosum in particular is a plus)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple deliverables and to identify and implement process improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment across multiple time zones, especially with Sales, Support, and Marketing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize business processes and customer experience through continuous improvement techniques
  • Ability to lead Salesforce related projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to successfully manage change and navigate positively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of project management fundamentals; ability to use project management tools and participate effectively in a structured project management environment
  • Ability to quickly learn Salesforce administrator best practices, functionality, reports, and flows
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Communications or related area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
  • At least 3 years of project or program management experience that includes experience with Agile, working as part of cross-functional teams and at least 2 years of experience using Salesforce
It's a plus if you have:
  • Experience with customer-experience or user-experience practices
  • Salesforce Certification:
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator
    • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
    • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
  • Experience in applying use cases to test Saleforce flows from DevAdmin, Stress, and Production environments
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Flows and Subflows
  • Experience using Salesforce Dataloader
  • Experience working in, or with clients in, education or government
  • Understanding of and experience implementing change management methodologies
  • Experience working in Jira and with Tableau
  • ACT product implementation experience
