Position Summary

ITT Inc. is looking for a Product Specialist to join their Industrial Process team in Seneca Falls, NY. The Product Specialist will provide daily support to Sales force to acquire centrifugal pump business. This includes technical support, costing, bid preparation, and product promotion. Assist other departments with engineering, production, and field service. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Entry level engineers and new grads are encouraged to apply!
Essential Responsibilities

• Assist Sales force (direct/indirect) by providing technical information, costing, and application support.
• Determine product and buy-out cost estimates. Lead on-going value engineering projects to reduce product costs.
• Manage orders for special products including interpretation of specifications and schedule management.
• Prepare promotional product newsletters and presentations including customer and pump school training.
• Assist R&D Engineers with product engineering, analysis, and design to fully meet customer's requirements.
• Assist assembly and test as required to resolve technical and contractual issues to meet customer's requirements.
• Troubleshooting and field problem resolution (for both Assigned Products and Others as directed by inquiry volume

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
• Must be a team player and a problem solver
• Must be customer focused/customer oriented
