This position reports to the Operations Manager and works in warehouse environment and on a shop floor processing activities in accordance with company prescribed safety, quality, and productivity standards. You'll build chemicals dispensing and processing equipment and parts, and process orders for shipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use of various wire strippers, pliers, heat guns, tube cutters, soldering irons, wrenches and power tools including saws, drills sanders and routers to cut, drill and shape components.
  • Use PVC cement to secure and build sub-assemblies.
  • Working with chemicals transferring from bulk containers into smaller containers.
  • Assist in shipping/receiving as needed.
  • Keep your work area clean and safe.

Physical Demands
  • Required to work while standing and or sitting.
  • Required to be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Forklift certified or willing to be certified.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
