Primary Responsibilities



Culture: Understands Multi-Color culture around Core Values. Demonstrates values andprinciples as they interact with employees and managers.

Training: Responsibilities include communicating with managers and designated trainers to ensure successful onboarding of new employees. Works closely with the designated trainers to coordinate, design, develop, and oversee training plans, including new employee training, new operator training,cross-training, and annual skills re-certification.

Payroll Processing: Support Operations in timesheet processing: correcting missed punches, authorizing timesheets, running necessary payroll summary reports, working closely with managers and supervisors to manage Dayforce scheduling to ensure employees are paid correctly.

Buddy Program: Coordinate the Buddy Program, ensuring new employees are matched with a strong, positive company advocate who possesses good interpersonal and communication skills, and is committed to the Company's Vision and Values with the ultimate goal to improve engagement and retention of new employees. Coordinate Buddy/Employee lunches to include planning and ordering meals.

General Operations Support: Assist department managers in planning and performing department engagement activities, such as celebration activities, recognition, ordering lunches, etc. Support new hire orientation and the successful onboarding of new employees.

Hiring Manager Support: Assist hiring manager in meeting staffing goals, to include participating in hiring events, requisition development and approval, liaison with the assigned recruiter, and ensure the interview process is satisfactorily complete with the hiring manager and candidate(s).

Wage Progression: Assist plant leaders in the administration of the Wage Progression program to ensure quarterly scorecards and wage assessment are completely consistently and in a timely manner.

Timekeeping: Support timecard approvers to ensure accuracy of time keeping data of all full-time hourly and temporary employees. Runs audit reports to ensure timecard approvers are addressing discrepancies timely to ensure accurate payroll processing.

Attendance Management: Monitor attendance patterns to ensure issues are addressed by the manager in a timely, consistent manner. Assist the manager in driving accountability among the workforce.

AP Coding: Review invoices for accuracy, add GL and Cost codes, forward to the appropriate manager for approval.

Reporting:
Update and maintain staffing/crewing sheets for General Manager. Prepare attendance and staffing reports on a routine cadence (daily, weekly, monthly).

Staffing Agencies:
Own relationship/partnership with temporary staffing agencies; assist with completion and approval of timecards and maintain temporary resource roster. Lead orientation for new temporary employees.


Experience/Skills Required:


  • High school education or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Three to five years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Office Manager or Administrative support type of role strongly preferred.

  • Skilled in the Microsoft Office suite. Must be proficient at creating and working with Excel spreadsheets.
  • Rational, logical, fact-driven decision making. Read and analyze complex documents. Strong problem solving and communication skills. Ability to exercise judgment with time sensitive and confidential information. Ability to multi-task and self-direct work.
  • Must have strong initiative.
  • Demonstrate an approachable, professional image; engage with employees at all levels.
