Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced (1st shift) Production Manager to oversee our food manufacturing operations. The Production Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of production, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities to ensure the efficient and safe production of our food products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing and a proven track record of success in managing production teams and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure on-time delivery
• Supervise and lead production teams, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Ensure that production meets quality and food safety standards, including adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA)
• Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure smooth production flow
• Manage inventory levels to ensure that raw materials and finished products are available for production and shipment
• Prepare and maintain production reports and records to track progress and performance
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in food manufacturing within a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software
