Your Role:

This role sits within the Bellevue site Production Planning team and reports to the site's Head of Supply Planning. Our team enables factory operations by accurately planning for procurement of raw materials, scheduling production, and coordinating logistics of finished goods to meet customer demand. This role will be responsible for scheduling production of a variety of microbiology products, including high-mix low-volume and high-volume low-mix types.

  • Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules to maintain production and provides input to management.
  • Analyzes plant capacity and production data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources
  • Interfaces with production, quality control, and procurement to review back order status, prioritize production orders and other potential schedule interruptions or rescheduling.
  • Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
  • Uses specialist knowledge, analytical skills, judgment, and broad conceptual and practical experience to solve complex problems and to contribute to process improvements.
  • Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams that affect team performance.
  • Works with discretion within broad guidelines.
  • Manages own workload.
  • Uses sound interpersonal skills to advance discussions and build consensus across the business primarily regarding own technical area or discipline.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain discipline with 3+ years of full-time production planning experience with knowledge of current production planning principles, methods, and techniques OR High School Diploma or GED with 7+ years of full-time production planning experience with knowledge of current production planning principles, methods, and techniques
  • 5+ years of experience working in MS Office suite
  • 3+ years of experience working in SAP or equivalent ERP system

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Biochemical or Biotechnical experience
  • APICS or Six Sigma Certification
  • Tableau or PowerBI experience
