Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

1. Adhere to Nucor Harris Rebar's safety programs and standards.
2. Demonstrate leadership consistent with Nucor Harris Rebar's vision and values.
3. Review contract documents / drawings and coordinate efforts to ensure that Nucor Harris Rebar supplies products and services in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
4. Provide total contract management for each project assigned, including the assistance in coordination and communication of detailing, scheduling, delivery and costs of products and services utilizing the company's business systems, industry standards, and other company resources.
5. Oversee efforts to ensure that Nucor Harris Rebar fulfills contractual obligations on the assigned projects.
6. Review changes to the project to determine their scope, ensure the accuracy of same and process the appropriate documentation in accordance with the company's change order procedures.
7. Assist in the change order process culminating in the acceptance of the change order by the customer.
8. Interpret and explain plans and contract terns to the appropriate teammates and customers.
9. Represent the company in project meetings as needed.
10. Work with the Detailing Manager to help control the financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interests while simultaneously maintaining an excellent relationship with the customers.
11. Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs, and scheduling.
12. Perform other duties as requested by the Branch Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to oversee a variety of projects simultaneously and manage time / meet deadlines.
• Experience in respectfully resolving problems and/or disputes.
• Basic knowledge of contract law.
• Experience with Microsoft products, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the construction industry with strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand Civil, Structural and Architectural drawings.
• Able to apply ACI codes and CRSI standards as required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Effective leadership and critical thinking skills: ability to coordinate own and other's activities.

• 6 years' experience as a rebar detailer, rebar estimator or demonstrated construction PM experience.
