Matrix Providers seeks a detail-focused and driven Project Coordinator to join and support our Business Development team. The PC will work within Business Development to support the facilitation of proposal processes to include the development and review of all proposal components, including pre-recruitment efforts, pricing research, and proposal preparation to support the production of final proposals. The individual should be motivated, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

This remote position will be performed outside the candidates home office. Individuals must have the discipline to work in this work environment and must always be reliable and readily available throughout the workday.

  • Employment Status: Full-time
  • Schedule: This is a remote role with some flexibility in hours is allowed, but employees must be available during "core" work hours

Requirements: The Project Coordinator must have and meet the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or 2+ years of experience with federal government proposal development, finance, contracting, project management, and/or compensation analysis.
  • Prior knowledge of reading and analyzing requests for proposals (RFPs) & requests for quotation (RFQs) is preferred.
  • Prior experience or background in recruitment is preferred.
  • Proven organizational capability and strategic thinking to improve business development and proposal outcomes.
  • Knowledge of federal government business development processes is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Capable of reprioritizing efforts to meet dynamic workloads, schedule shifts, and manage multiple concurrent business development and proposal projects.
  • Ability to work with all employee levels within the company in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must be able to work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented & motivated to provide error-free work products.
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry is preferred.
Job Summary:
  • Review incoming Business Development opportunities daily.
  • Handling of RFP & RFQ intake process into CRM.
  • Support bid decision conversations and assist with analyzing proposal development and progress.
  • Assist with the advertising of new opportunities received daily.
  • Analyze and understand all proposal requirements.
  • Building and completing proposal components and other required documents to be submitted to the government promptly.
  • Review and document any addendums and modifications to proposal documents.
  • Track opportunities are utilizing a current database.
  • Support the building of any proposal components, including, but not limited to, Administrative/Technical/Price/Past Performance.
  • Creatively utilize publicly available data to develop competitive intelligence.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify and set price-to-win targets in coordination with the BD team.
  • Create, maintain, and update spreadsheets to compile reports, charts, and graphs bi-weekly for Leadership.
  • Conduct salary research utilizing various commercial and government resources.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (for pricing knowledge at various government locations).
  • Respond to and manage any pre-bid and post-bid revisions and edits as required.
  • Conduct discussions with potential applicants during pre-recruitment efforts to gather knowledge of market information.
  • Work with the internal Operations team in handling the post-award process.
  • Follow up with contracting offices to inquire about proposal outcomes, as directed.
  • Capture all award notifications and record outcomes for reporting.
  • Support Pricing & BD with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • For any non-IDIQ proposal work, support the BD team in completing pricing spreadsheets, or research, as directed.
  • Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
