Who are we looking for?

In response to steady growth within our Water/Wastewater business, our Southeast Region Water group is looking to bring onboard a motivated Project Engineer to help with the continued development and growth of GHD's Water Business in Southern Florida. You will also be given the opportunity to provide technical leadership and delivery of major water resource, linear conveyance, water/wastewater treatment projects for our clients throughout Florida and the Southeast Region.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients through business development, sales, and marketing
• Coordinate with local professional organizations to support the growth of our practice
• Completion of studies, design and construction administration for a variety of environmental and civil projects
• Developing technical reports and proposals
• Providing mentorship and development advice to junior level staff
• Collaborating with clients for planning purposes, providing updates and building relationships

What you will bring to the Team

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Systems Engineering
• 2 - 7 years of experience with municipal water, wastewater, stormwater projects including engineering evaluations, design, permitting, and construction administration
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and obtaining the Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification preferred but not required
• Previous consulting experience strongly desired
• Able and willing to travel to client job sites as needed (primarily local with the occasional overnight)
