Koch Air, LLC has been focused on the distribution of quality Carrier residential and commercial products since 1936, and is among the oldest and largest Carrier distributors. Today, Koch Air, has ten branch locations, 35 delivery vehicles, and more than 300,000 square feet of equipment and parts warehousing throughout the Midwest.



Our Project Manager will focus onsuccessfully meeting our customer equipment order requirements through proper execution of project management requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform all duties in accordance with Koch Air and Koch Enterprises Code of Conduct, Values, Ethics, Environmental, Safety, and Human Resources policies

  • Own the after-commitment process of all orders assigned. Prepare the necessary document for order entry, submittal generation and approval to post sales assistance and support.
  • Provide order tracking support for all projects including Start-up scheduling
  • Assist with post sales technical support by coordinating with Koch Technical Support Advisors
  • Answer phones in a professional manner; pick up overflow calls from the commercial loop
  • Maintain current, complete, organized project and submittal files; work with the corresponding salesperson to correct any discrepancies
  • Review plan and spec takeoffs when requested
  • Use, implement and follow Koch Air's policies and procedures
  • Attend job site meetings and visits on occasion
  • Assist with creating reports, due out, open releases, order tracking and other task as requested
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School degree or equivalent; college degree preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with submittals.
  • Minimum 2 years HVAC knowledge.


  • KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
  • Ability to problem solve in a positive manner
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and manage the customer relationship.
  • Ability to proactively manage time and priorities.
  • Must be responsive to customers and exhibit a service and sales attitude.
  • Ability to use PC, Microsoft Office suite proficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills both written and verbal required.
