We are seeking an energetic, reliable and detail-oriented Project Manager to take on the responsibility of several fast-moving projects. We are looking to add to our dedicated team for future projects in Southern California and the surrounding regions.

The ideal candidate will take active ownership in the projects, take pride in their work, and thrive in a technically challenging and hands-on environment; Must demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and have a commitment to establish a positive and effective working relationship with all members of the project team. McGuire Builders specializes in high-end and luxury renovation projects, so the ideal candidate will embrace the specialized needs of our clients, attacking each project with unwavering attention to detail.

The ideal Project Manager will possess initiative, flexibility, imagination and perseverance to be successful in this position. Also, must have 5+ years of experience in project management, commercial renovation and/or related construction projects
What You Will Be Doing -Support the Project Engineer and Project Administration in day-to-day project activities. Liaison between the owner, architect engineer, and subcontractors.
-Process administrative work; including change orders, process pay application, organize and review plans.
-Take part in the estimations process and submit RFPs for new projects.
-Create, track, distribute and sloe all submittals.
-Interpret drawings, specification and field issues.
-Procure project materials and equipment, plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate assigned project work.
-Responsible for completion and accuracy of all electronic forms, reports and documentation for the project.
-Manage subcontractors to ensure they maintain the project schedule.
-Experience in ordering, scheduling, quality control, and production of all phase of the project
-Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate the technical and management aspects of projects.
-Program maintenance and updates utilizing company construction program software for directory/contacts, uploading plans & documents. Project communication and creation of various project binders
-Monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices & company standard, plus maintain safety document and assist in any safety directives.
-Facilitate and maintain regular contact with project clients.
-Strong verbal and written communication, computer and decision making/problem solving skills.
-Foster teamwork and collaboration.
What You Need for this Position -Minimum of 3 years construction industry experience
-4-year bachelors degree in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or Construction Management or equivalent combination of experience and/or training within a technical field
-PMP Certification preferred
