Our client, a non-profit health and research-based organization, is seeking a temporary Project Manager to join their Procurement team for 6 months. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating procurement communications, contributing to improvement initiatives, and managing projects from inception to completion. About the Job:

• Provide comprehensive support for meeting and project management across strategic activities, workgroups, and special projects.
• Assist in Procurement communications and messaging concerning strategic projects and cross-Procurement initiatives.
• Foster relationships with all employees to enhance efficiency and responsiveness in current operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement planning, setting goals, analyzing data, and making recommendations based on knowledge of improvement activities.
• Scope and manage projects, develop project tracking tools, monitor progress against milestones, and provide updates to stakeholders throughout the timeline.

About You:

• 4+ years of strong project manager experience is required; a non-profit background is a plus!
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management tools.
• Display independence, proactiveness, responsiveness, flexibility, and adeptness in handling multiple priorities.
• PMP or Lean Six Sigma certifications are preferred.

About the Position:

• Pays $35-$41/hr
• Temporary for 6 months
• Hybrid onsite schedule, 2 days in office
• Office in Washington, DC
• Hours are 8:30am-5:00pm
