Note - This position is

Remote: This position does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis.

As a member of GM's Human Resources Group you are a Brand Ambassador who supports the Global Talent Acquisition's vision and leads the recruiting process using technology, analytics, collaboration, and white-gloved customer service skills.

The Project Manager owns and drives the project governance, (including but not limited to) the development and maintenance of:

Project initiation documents

Project plan

RAID log

Regular Project Team review

Steering Committee meeting facilitation

Reporting and oversight over workstreams.

This person will also be responsible for recruitment process design and maintenance of these processes including continuous improvement.

Accountable for successful delivery of a projects, including:

Management of project resources within GM Global Talent Acquisition and associated outputs to deliver to agreed scope and project objectives.

Responsible for scoping and pricing a project and then delivering it to an agreed set of objectives in line with contractual obligations and our client's strategic goals.

Management of key risks and issues a pivotal part of the role to ensure a successful outcome.

Minimal Qualifications:

Experience in Recruitment/Talent Acquisition

Experience running medium to large scale projects, preferably across multiple lines-of-business and geographies

Experience collaborating with a Project Team, influencing as an Individual Contributor

Understands full-lifecycle recruitment from experience working within Recruitment/TA and/or HR function(s)

Experience of working with Senior Leadership and Stakeholders

Experience in push back on Team Members at all levels

Advanced User of:

  • MS Project
  • Visio
  • MS Office Tools
  • SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Six Sigma, TQM or Lean methodologies

Experience in "Process Re-engineering" and applied methodologies (i.e. CLAMBRE/UML/LEAN)

Attended a recognized Project Management Training Program, Certification (i.e. PMP)

Agility to participate in Team dynamics that take place typically during Eastern time
