Primary Location:2200 W. University Drive, McKinney, Texas, 75071We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.Job Summary:Design, develop, and maintain the college district's cabling infrastructure and network performance related to ethernet, fast ethernet, switching technology, and fiber optic technology. Perform design maintenance of CADD drawings for cabling\contractors. Aid with contract electricians and cabling vendors to meet requirements related to college projects and systems.Required Qualifications:

Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects. Occasional exposure to unpleasant environmental conditions and/or hazards. Occasional outside work. Occasional physical effort required.
Requirements
Associate degree from an accredited institution required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferred.
Five (5) years of related experience required. Six (6) years of related experience, preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
Must hold at least one (1) of the following unexpired certifications (or equivalent):
Panduit Plus Certified
Cisco Certified Specialist
Data Center Design
CompTIA Network+
APC Certified Operator
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
