Job Info
Your Tasks:
- Read and interpret technical data necessary to complete jobs.
- Complete inspection data and process documentation according to current quality procedures.
- Use standard layout equipment and measuring tools, i.e. micrometer, calipers, height gage etc.
- Prepare forms, tools, gages required to shape, assemble, check or test work pieces.
- Hand assemble weld, braze and solder complex metal fabrications and assemblies.
- Weld aluminum and steel using MIG, TIG and Stick processes.
- Braze and solder aluminum, brass, copper and steel.
- Operate various metal working tools including power shears, band-saws, press brakes, vertical mills, and lathes.
- Maintain a safe, clean work area.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of products and shop operations.
- Must be flexible to work overtime and any shift as required.
- Perform related duties as needed by supervision.
Your Skills:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two to five years experience and demonstrated knowledge of processes and product in assigned area. This includes sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, and inspection.
- Certificates or training in welding, blueprint reading, and machining are strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
