• Compare supplier confirmations to document acceptance of price and delivery terms. Partner with Buyer/Planner team to resolve significant deviations from expectations
• Follow-up with suppliers that have not confirmed receipt of open purchase orders
• Update standard lead time and price expectations for suppler parts from acknowledgments and updated price lists
• Identify Open Purchase Orders that are past due and follow-up with suppliers to expedite receipt of goods
• Identify open purchase orders that are expected to be received well in advance of requirements and partner with suppliers to delay shipment of goods
• Coordinate purchase order cancellations and returns for items that are no longer needed
• Assist with additional purchasing responsibilities in the absence of primary buyers
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and/or Training:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Additional supply chain related education, certifications, or experience are a plus
• Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word)

Relevant Work Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or related fields
