Our Client is seeking a QA Analyst in Irving, TX.

Role Description

Manual QA testing in a lab environment to test Linux based core Java code as well as cloud based (RESTful) resources all related to commerce, POS, and convenience store fuel sales. Position will work with and in Agile based teams as well as affiliated testing teams that handle enterprise end-to-end testing when needed.

• Hands on testing with POS systems (touch screen, card swipes, EMV and magswipe) as well as fuel dispenser simulators
• Hands on testing as needed with attached forecourt devices related to fuel sales at convenience stores
• Mobile phone based testing as needed related to loyalty and fuel loyalty as well as other attached IOT devices
• Creation of test cases and test plans related to customer experience and overall flow of the health of the system
• Working with development teams to refine developer owned unit tests and automated testing to bring synergy between automated testing and manual testing

Skills & Requirements

• Familiarity with JIRA (familiarity with JIRA test tools like Zephyr a huge plus)
• Experience in a physical lab environment
• Experience with Agile development and SDLC (SCRUM or Kanban)
• Experience creating test cases, scenarios, and test plans
