FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park. Job Summary:

The Quality technician will perform quality evaluations of products and processes to ensure compliance to requirements and standards to our Quality Management System

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Perform quality evaluations of incoming parts and products to ensure they meet requirements.
• Perform internal audits of system processes to ensure compliance to requirements.
• Audit product conformance to requirements at any point in production processes.
• Assist in processing of product nonconformances to identify failure mode and resolution.
• Collaborate with Quality team in performance of duties.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to read engineering blueprints
• Ability to use various types of measurement systems and inspection tools and learn new ones as needed.
• Close attention to detail.
• Basic computer operation skills.
• Basic understanding and ability to use Microsoft Office and similar software products.
• Work as a self-starter with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.
• 5 years experience in product and process evaluation preferred.
• 3 years experience in use of various measurement tools and systems preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in working in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the factory.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.

• This position is hourly, non-exempt.
• This is a first shift position. Hours for this position are 7:00a - 4:00p, Monday-Friday. Some overtime is required.
