The Recycling Lead is responsible for thoroughly understanding department policies and procedures and ensuring that the department training plan encompasses quality, speed and accuracy. This position will ensure work areas are clean and safe, identify and report any injuries and structure damages, and train Recycling Team in recycling materials, safe cleaning, and material handling.

Job Responsibilities

• Thoroughly understand Bob's company- Department Policies and procedures
• Partner with Maintenance/Recycle Supervisor on all challenges, decisions, adjustments or changes to be made to ensure that all aspects of the Bob's business plan are considered and followed
• Ensure that department training plan encompasses quality, speed and accuracy
• Mentor, guide, coach and train other Recycling employees in recycling materials, safe cleaning and material handling practices
• Provide updates to Supervisor throughout the workday on all day-to-day activities and progress of associates
• Sort materials, operate forklift, and clamp trucks
• Delegate tasks and follow up
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Warehouse/mechanical experience
• Must be able to operate bailers and compressed recyclables
• Must be able to operate forklift and clamp truck
• Excellent communication and verbal skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be able to operate and adjust to change in a fast paced work environment
• Ability to organize and prioritize the workload daily

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Warehouse Lead experience
