Job Summary\u0007 Provide leadership vision and management to the assigned regional engineering team and act as strategic business member of the leadership teamEssential Duties and Responsibilities\u0007 Build and lead an agile and responsive team responsible for any and all engineering inquires \u0007 Assist in establishing departmental goals objectives an operating procedures\u0007 Develop engineering and architectural (RCP/Floor Plan) drawings calculations and acoustical modeling\u0007 Review pre-construction design and documentation \u0007 Assist with technical design pricing and identify any logistical challenges\u0007 Customer liaison for engineering inquires \u0007 Meet with vendors/prospective vendors to help evaluate products \u0007 Post sales project consultation\u0007 Review project designs created by internal and external resources\u0007 Review hour estimation for work based on needs analysis scope of work and bid requirements \u0007 Identify special requirements for project including but not limited to: test equipment specialized tools rigging support \u0007 Provide feedback to corporate and development management on process improvement opportunities and facilitate process improvement.\u0007 Test audio DSP or video processing systems software required for system functionality\u0007 Monitor and ensure labor expenditures do not exceed department budget \u0007 Manage internal activities that support client training \u0007 Manage or facilitate field testing of integrated systems and training client on use\u0007 Remain abreast of A/V advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization Translate customer requirements into functional system designs\u0007 Create and maintain engineering related documentation in accordance with company guidelines\u0007 Maintain scheduling and resources for the department \u0007 Travel to various job sites required Other duties assigned as neededSkills and Abilities \u0007 Proven ability to significantly contribute toward or lead operation initiatives with a results oriented approach\u0007 Demonstrated leadership and management skills in a team-oriented collaborative environment \u0007 Proven ability to mentor educate and develop members of the team \u0007 Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization\u0007 Understanding of engineering aspects of audiovisual systems design and installation preferred \u0007 Ability to motivate and effectively lead large project teams comprised of technical administrative and engineering personnel toward a common goal \u0007 Understanding of construction project management applied to audiovisual projects\u0007 Proficient with test and calibration equipment preferred \u0007 Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines\u0007 Must have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally
