Description:
The Judge Group is seeking a Reliability Engineer for a manufacturing company located in the Pell City, Al area.

Title: Reliability Engineer

Location: Pell City, Al

Salary: $95,000 - $105,000

Key Responsibilities:

1.Equipment Strategy Development:
oDevelop an efficient strategy for equipment maintenance, considering all relevant data and information about the maintenance process and activities.

oCreate a strategy that allows for the efficient use of production/process equipment.

2.Problem Solving and Solutions:

oIdentify solutions to recurring equipment problems.

oPropose the best solutions to prevent equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.

3.Design and Feasibility:

oAnalyze product or equipment specifications and performance requirements.

oDetermine designs that can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.

oEvaluate the feasibility of designing new plant equipment or modifying existing facilities, considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors.

4.Engineering Software and Design:

oUtilize computer-assisted engineering and design software to create designs for plant equipment and facilities.

5.Project Management:

oDevelop expense and capital projects, including generating scope of work, alternatives, estimates, project papers, specifications, and budgets.

oExecute expense and capital projects by selecting contractors, writing requests for quotes, awarding bids, overseeing contractors and internal maintenance personnel, inspecting/approving work, and closing projects.

6.Technical Expertise:

oProvide technical information related to manufacturing or protecting techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations.

oContribute to long-range plant and product engineering planning.

7.Compliance and Analysis:

oEnsure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.

oAnalyze operational and test data to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).

•Experience in maintenance, reliability, or process engineering.

•Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.

•Experience in cement, mining, oil & gas, pulp/paper, etc. a plus
