What You Will Be Doing Day to Day

" Implementing automation, optimization and analysis processes across our organization
" Testing, debugging and delivering working solutions.
" Contribute to data architecture decisions and implement them
" Use appropriate technology to enable access to external data sources
" Create, document and maintain complex data pipelines
" Data preparation for storage, analytics, ML
" Data integration, transformation, and optimization
" Building of data-centric, optimized APIs
" Research, prototype and recommend new technologies and frameworks

Preferred Background:
" Deep experience building large scale, high throughput distributed systems and scaling web services, particularly those using and analyzing large amounts of data
" Have a proven track record of building tooling, automation, and/or services in one or multiple languages (e.g., C++, Golang, Python)
" Hands-on Experience with container deployment, scaling, and management (Docker, Kubernetes or ECS).
" Experience with Infrastructure As Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Chef).
" Proficiency with Go.
" Good understanding of information security best practices.
