Overview

The Retail Merchandise Coordinator will support all categories of business within the store merchandising team. The incumbent is directly responsible for all style set ups, purchase order creation, tracking and store communication. All price maintenance from initial set up to life cycle promotional management falls within direct responsibility. This role requires extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and SAP. Must interact professionally and work effectively with people at various levels both internal and external. Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks to support the merchandising departments with developing strategies to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • New style setups and maintenance including consistent communication with vendors to gather all information necessary to complete the process. Consistent UPC maintenance.
  • Purchase order creation and maintenance following end to end process from creation to ship date
  • Vendor set up for any new vendors and updates to any existing vendors this includes close communication with vendor and internal IT teams to complete and maintain.
  • Price maintenance for new style pricing by store type, SKU and style. Activate clearance pricing, markups, markdowns.
  • Consistent management of promotional pricing system.
  • Utilize Excel, Word, SAP and Power Point
  • Maintain, run and distribute all style selling reports on weekly basis to both internal and external business partners.
  • Consolidates, organizes, and assists in maintaining POG packets and floor plans for all store types.
  • Manage multiple tasks with a sense of urgency.
  • Assist Merchandise teams as needed.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or the equivalent. College degree preferred.
  • Requires a high analytical ability and the ability to organize and control a large amount of detailed product information.
  • Requires superior communication & customer service skills with a working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and SAP.
  • Consistently operates with a sense of urgency and solution orientated approach for drive for positive results.
