Location: Houston, TX
Description: Our client is currently seeking a RN I Prog Tele, Radiology, Oncology in Houston, TX!

6+ Months Contract

Start Date: 6/28/2021 End Date: 12/31/2021

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• The RN provides nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area and leadership on the unit, under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor, or RN Coordinator.
• The RN applies clinical nursing knowledge and utilizes demonstrated skills to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards.
• The RN utilizes critical thinking to identify priorities and make judgments concerning basic and comprehensive needs of multiple patients in order facilitate appropriate and timely care.
• Prior Radiology/ICU/ER experience required.
• Per diem as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

• ADN or BSN required education
• Graduate from an approved professional registered nursing program 6 months in a clinical area
• Current and valid Texas RN license 3 years experience using equipment and supplies for selected patient population for the clinical area.
  
• Including CPR, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy
• Current BLS Computer experience
• BA Degree in nursing
• 2 yrs of ambulatory care
• EPIC experience, ACLS and/or PALS Specialty nursing certification in ambulatory care or one appropriate to the specialty area assigned
