Description:

*Care provided is appropriate to the age of the patients served, as defined in the scope of
service for the nurse's area of practice, to include:
Neonate (Birth-4 weeks),Adolescent
(12-18 years),Infant (4 weeks-1 year),Early Adulthood (19-45 years),Toddler (1-3
years),Middle Adulthood (46-60 years),Pre-School (3-6 years),Later Adulthood (Over 61
years),School Age (6-12 years)

* Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the
patient s needs.
* Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of growth and development.
* Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients.
* Makes initial assessment, and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients,
as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
* Performs initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including a review of
systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
* Completes Admission Assessment in time frame established, according to Policy and
Procedure.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or > 3 years of experience.
* Meets all required optional and non-optional criteria for Level III oas defined in the
Nursing PACE program

* If working Labor & Delivery, must scrub and circulate in Labor and Delivery Operating
Room.

Licensure
* Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the State of Florida
* Current BLS required; Current ACLS, if required for your area; PALS, if required
