Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Kingman is seeking a leader for the position of Sales Manager.This Department Manager level position reports directly to the General Manager.Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leadership role in promoting Nucor's Mission ensuring safety is instilled as a value, an appropriate focus on community & environmental stewardship, and a proven focus on profitability.
- Creating and executing a commercial and sales strategy for the division and their team.
- Developing team members through building relationships, training, and individual coaching.
- Analyzing data and situations, thinking strategically, negotiating effectively, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working collaboratively within the team to motivate and inspire an entire operation as part of the Leadership Team at Nucor Steel Kingman.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five years' combined experience in commercial, sales, and/or marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in Business or Marketing.
- Prior sales or commercial leadership experience in steel industry or manufacturing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Semi-Finish, Wire Rod, and Rebar business.
- Willing to relocate within Nucor as future advancement opportunities arise.
