The Scientific Research Specialist will oversee silicon detector quality control (QC) for the FSU HEP group's contribution to the High Granularity Calorimeter (HGCAL) project.The incumbent is responsible for the timely delivery of QC results and recommendations to the CMS HGCAL sensors group and maintenance of sensor quality throughout the duration of the construction project. The candidate should be able to work independently and communicate effectively within the FSU and CMS research communities of experimental physicists, electrical engineers, and mechanical engineers.
