Job Description

DUTIES:

  • Participate in In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) development, from proof of concept testing to validation, regulatory submission and launch.
  • Design, execute, analyze and critique data from qPCR, dPCR, ddPCR experiments.
  • Ensure products are properly developed to enable smooth Design Transfer.
  • Ensure DHFs and technical files meet applicable standards, preparing documentation under design control to ensure quality product development.
  • Ensure projects meet timelines; identify and remove roadblocks to team success.
  • Collaborate across functions to work with software teams, product management., QARA etc.
  • Actively participate as a member of cross-functional product development teams.
  • Perform high quality science and data-driven decision-making, using statistical analysis, DOE, and Six Sigma methods.
  • Drive continuous process improvement.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or closely related field of study plus one year of experience in bioengineering or related experience.

Must have experience or knowledge of:
  • Using software for primer and probe design, and sequence analysis;
  • qPCR;
  • dPCR;
  • ddPCR;
  • Design of Experiment;
  • Melt curve analysis;
  • Using statistical software to analyze, plot, trend and present data;
  • Executing experiments in a regulated environment.
TRAVEL: Up to 5% domestic and international travel required.

SALARY: $127,150/yr. - $138,000/yr.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $127,150.00-$138,000.00.
