Job Summary
Provides a full range of front desk operations in a busy dental care practice. Provides customer service to patients, families, dentist and staff as needed. Represents image of the practice to patients, community and institution through personal and telephone contact. Receives, greets patients, family members/visitors, physicians and hospital personnel as appropriate in a friendly and courteous manner. Answer multiline telephones using appropriate telephone etiquette. Triage calls, records, communicates and delivers all messages assuring accuracy and timelines. Schedules and confirms all patient appointments for a high volume practice into the scheduling system. Will keep the schedule up to date showing proper ratio patients per doctor. Organizes and prepares charts. Filing of patient charts and information into the dental record. Registers new patients and updating current patient's information as needed.
