ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Academic Program Specialist oversees the Graduate and Undergraduate staff of the Student Affairs office in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. This position coordinates the graduate student program in the Department by acting as the primary point of contact with current and prospective graduate students to provide academic counseling and guidance.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
The Department seeks a candidate with excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail. Someone who is comfortable supervising others as well as completing administrative tasks. Being a known problem solver and working well under pressure would make someone a great fit in this role.
Minimum requirements include:
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)
