Description:
Senior AEM Developer

6-month contract (potential of extension)

100% Remote (pst hours)

This individual contributor role is responsible for executing frontend and backend development within an agile team working with several other role types; business analyst, backend developer, QA, architecture, UX designer.

This role requires experience with responsive web design using Adobe Experience Manager using HTML, Java and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

Work in conjunction with development teams to implement standards compliant implementations for Responsive Design and follow accessibility standards.

Work on multiple projects concurrently

Develop clean AEM pages and components using HTML, Java and Sling models

Must have good understanding and experience of J2EE, JavaScript and CSS3, HTML5

Be engaged in ensuring quality code, ADA compliance, unit testing and functional testing of UI

Deliver customer and employee facing UI projects and understand the nuances between the two user bases

Ability to communicate ideas and accomplishments to senior leadership and line of business

Skills:

~Bachelor's Degree is a must

~Minimum 5 years of development experience with Adobe AEM (AEM 6.5 is a must)

~Minimum of 10 years of J2EE programming experience required. Knowledge of Sling, Spring and Struts or other MVC frameworks.

~Strong experience with API and exposing content as a service

~Must have experience with responsive web design and good working knowledge of Bootstrap

~Knowledge and ability to apply standards compliant HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery. Familiarity with Angular

~Solid Experience with Maven

~3 years of Experience with REST

~SOAP is a nice to have
