We will count on you to:
  • Be the subject matter expert through development exposure and be able to provide suggestions for improvements/enhancements to existing processes
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex application issues, work with clients (primarily internal, occasionally external), other IT departments and suppliers as appropriate
  • Monitor, maintain and remediate compliance tasks, such as D/R test planning, software self-assessment reviews, web vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, etc.
  • Provide users with best practice communications, guidance, and other appropriate support until tickets are resolved
  • Liaise with stakeholders including but not limited to business, IT leads and global teams
  • Carry out application management, including monitoring and maintenance (installation, configuration, administration) of applications and services
  • Perform complex and challenging troubleshooting activities to resolve issues reported by users, as well as troubleshoot system-triggered alerts and triage complex issues to the appropriate technology groups
  • Answer questions relating to application security and configuration in area of technical expertise
  • Support business critical applications; ensure monitoring is in place, identify and report on service issues, and formulate proposals for problem resolutions and/or improvements
  • Ensure all relevant implementation, support, and change management processes are adhered to (i.e. Software Development Lifecycle and Change Management)
  • Provide on-call support for business critical applications during non-core hours
  • Ensure software/hardware inventory is updated with Server Changes, Application Changes, and contains accurate/up to date information
  • Arrange communication on software/hardware issues and resolution updates; provide service reports management summary
  • Assign, coordinate, and manage ticket assignment with DBAs and development team

What you need to have:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with application management
  • Knowledge of JAVA, MEAN Stack, and/or Microsoft technologies
  • Experience with Service delivery and application delivery process
  • Ability to identify problems quickly and triage to appropriate teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendor contact support teams
  • Ability to simplify complex processes to stakeholders
  • Excellent prioritization, troubleshooting and debugging skills
