Job Description
SENIOR ANDROID DEVELOPER

One of the Select Group's clients is seeking a Sr. Android Developer to join their team to continue to develop and enhance their main Android application. The ideal candidate has enterprise-level Android application development with Java/Kotlin, MVVM architecture, and familiarity with RxJava/Dagger/Retrofit This role is 100% remote from anywhere in the USA. We are unable to work corp-to-corp or provide sponsorship for this role.

SENIOR ANDROID DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level Android application development (Java / Kotlin)
• Experience implementing MVVM architecture within Android applications
• Deep understanding of the Android framework and Android UX
• Familiar with 3rd party libraries like RxJava/Dagger/Retrofit

SENIOR ANDROID DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own end-to-end responsibility on projects of increasing complexity; from technical design through completion and deployment
• Collaborate on API contracts which are documented and agreed upon by multiple stakeholders
• Participate in full application lifecycle (concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release management)
• Write clean, correct code incorporating feedback from code reviews; consistently follow and enforce best practices
