Job Title: -- Senior Claims Manager

Job Summary: -- This position supports the Risk Management Department in directing the worldwide Risk Management Property and Casualty insurance programs for asset protection and strategic advantage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --

  • Manage process and performance to obtain optimal outcomes involving a claims portfolio of approximately 10 million of annual cash outflows, and other assets including insurance coverage, employees, and customers
  • Promote and ensure service excellence internally and through vendor relationships
  • Develop and direct activity, awareness at subsidiary level, and provide resources, guidance and training
  • Appoint, manage and terminate vendor relationships, including vendor performance management
  • Ensure claim loss reserve performance and practices are accurate, consistent and timely
  • Develop and implement corporate claims, insurance and risk policies, programs and services; ensures efficient and effective use of resources
  • Assistance and management of risk exposures, insurance submissions and reviews
  • Provide support to corporate departments
  • Available 24/7/365 for assistance, inquires and management activities
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required by EMCOR
  • Travel: approximately 20%
Qualifications: --
  • B.A. / B.S. preferred (degree in Risk Management, Finance or related field a plus) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of professional insurance claims experience, and in-depth expertise in claims, insurance, coverage, and industry practices
  • Demonstrated ability leading to obtain high quality outcomes with tight time frames and cost-effective use of resources
  • Demonstrates integrity and strives for excellence in work
  • Knowledge of construction, energy and facilities service operations and practices
  • Professional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
