The Digital Experience team is part of the WM's Digital organization. Our team is focused on easy-to-use digital experiences that our customers and employees enjoy while driving value from our expected outcomes (think customer-centric and data-driven approaches). This team is responsible for experience design, creative, content, research, analytics, engineering, performance, eligibility build, testing and implementation.

Job Summary

The Executive Assistant will lead and provide a variety of duties in support of executives of the company (VP or above). Partner on assignments is complex in nature, requiring considerable judgement, tact, creativity, and initiative in order to resolve day to day challenges.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Other minor duties maybe assigned.

  • Serves as liaison between senior executive manager, managers and visitors are required; requests and schedules appointments and meetings and resolves problems requiring in-depth knowledge of company polices and procedures, and projects in progress.
  • Takes independent action on handling requests; determines the appropriate course of action, intervenes where necessary, and acts as a liaison between departments.
  • Coordinates data from a variety of sources for inclusion in technical reports and presentations; performs independent research and prepares information for special projects as assigned.
  • Administers the department record keeping system; updates various department records and publications; ensures that department files are maintained in accordance with company polices and procedures; reviews requests for information and determines the appropriateness of release.
  • Interprets an relays company policy information; keeps leadership informed of any deviation on items requiring personal attention.
  • Drafts confidential correspondence, edits documents, takes and transcribes minutes of meetings, and performs other administrative duties.
  • Arranges domestic and international travel.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
  • Eight (8) years of prior work experience.

B. Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting Director level and above in business company or corporate settings.
  • MS Outlook, MS Teams, Excel and PowerPoint experience.
  • Event Management and Travel Coordination experience.
  • Experience maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality.
