Position Overview:
As Data Solutions Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, build, validation, and delivery of LightBox data solutions for LightBox customers. LightBox data solutions are created using LightBox data platforms and industry standard GIS and data transformation/enrichment tool sets. LightBox data solutions provide data insights to lending, insurance, real estate, environmental, and government sectors.What you will do and achieve:

• Lead the design, build, validation and delivery of LightBox contracted data solutions to strategic LightBox data clients.
• Design, lead, and optimize data solution customer programs. Especially for high profile customers.
• Be a key stakeholder for the design, build, and optimization of data ETL toolset.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of LightBox data assets and infrastructure.
• Be an evangelist and SME (subject matter expert) for Data Solutions serviced products. This includes product onboarding and customer-facing engagements.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Create internal knowledge base and customer facing documents.

Who you are:
Education

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or similar discipline.
• Master's degree is preferred.

Experience

• 6 -10 years' experience as a GIS analyst, data engineer, or data Analyst.
• 2+ years' experience of project management
• Hands on experience in solution architecture.
• Hands on experience working directly with enterprise clients.

Key Knowledge & Skills

• Extensive knowledge in GIS, Geospatial concepts, SQL, Python, ETL and relational data.
• Extensive scripting experience.
• Great communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
• Project management to organize tight timelines and constrained resources
• Experience with AWS and other cloud-based data processing.
• Knowledge in open-source libraries such as GDAL and OGR
