IMSA is looking to hire a Manager, Brand and Consumer Marketing. This person oversees advertising creative development and production, including TV, print and digital advertising as well as trafficking of ads.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ownership of advertising creative development process, including TV, print and digital advertising.
  • Management and oversight of the trafficking of advertising creative to respective media outlets.
  • Monitor (for accuracy), report and analyze digital, TV, YouTube and print advertising campaigns.
  • Oversight and management of media partner advertising contracts.
  • Provide recommendation to Director, Marketing and Communications and manage prioritization of creative services / video requests from various departments.
  • Develop original advertising and content marketing campaigns.
  • Management and oversight of project management software (Workzone or other).
  • Cooperatively develop, implement, manage and distribute/communicate branding elements (i.e. logos, brand usage, physical assets like decals, videos, etc.)
  • Together with the Brand and Consumer Marketing team and Executives, building comprehensive brand identity for IMSA; implement across all facets of brand, educate staff.
  • Oversight of brand adherence of digital assets (graphics, banner ads, stakeholder emails, videos, logos).
  • Review, reconcile, approve and direct department purchases and approve expenses.
  • Work collaboratively with partnership marketing to more deeply engage partners, execute on contractual obligations.
  • Engage with our automotive and corporate partnership team to obtain digital content for IMSA digital properties as well as help develop marketing platforms (contests, promotions, etc) that our partners can activate against.
  • Communication of our marketing objectives and provide assets to stakeholders (OEM Council Meetings, Marketing Work Group, Promoter Meetings, etc.)
  • Research and execute the employee uniform ordering system.
  • Upon request, assist and collaborate with series-specific educational / business development materials (series guides, fan guides, signage or other print collateral).
  • Work with Partnership Marketing and NASCAR Events banquet pre-planning and execution (Run of show, videos, presentation, guest lists and registration processes).
  • Distribute live race video content clips to partners.
  • Work with TV partners to maintain up-to-date programming schedules and review broadcast content to ensure IMSA product is portrayed appropriately.
  • Review and ensure execution of International TV broadcast contracts are secured through Greenlight, navigate international finance regulations to receive licensing fees.
  • Help manage talent schedules and expenses.
  • Clerical duties to support the department / company - back up for general phone line, planning lunches, updating contacts, merchandise projects, office decorations, etc.
Approximately 35% travel including some weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four (4) year college or university; and 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training in marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Proficient experience with Company provided hardware and software. Familiarity with Snag It, Public Relations and Communications software
