In this crucial role you will assist in the development and implementation of Western Union North America Retail Pricing strategy. You will thrive at using corporate reporting, data sets, Adhoc tools to track pricing performance and deliver thoughtful business insights to leadership team. This role is responsible for new product pricing and will work with other business partners to deliver a great value for consumers. Also will keep track of competitive environment in market.

You will develop strategic pricing recommendations for the retail money transfer organization to drive revenue and long-term customer acquisition. Work together with different product teams to deliver tactical pricing on new launches and optimize legacy pricing structures in tandem with sales organization. Leverage pricing engine database to model revenue impacts and synthesize data on real time about pricing derived performance. We want you to be curious with our data and bring a fresh set of eyes into a 145 year old business.

You will analyze customer trends and work with sales team to gather competitor insights and determine the health of our position in different money transfer markets. Create decks for leadership and executive team with pricing performance insights and collaborate with internal brand marketing & legal partners to leverage applicable resources in support of campaigns, communications, and materials.

For this role you need a Bachelor's degree, applicable fields of study, but not limited to, industrial engineering, applied mathematics, economics, or other analytical fields. 2-5 years of experience working in transforming data into business insights. Proficient in database querying, data wrangling, modelling in SQL/Phyton and use of cloud-based platforms (e.g., Snowflake).

We are looking for a candidate that has a record of delivering results with limited resources; willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. A strategic and creative thinker to develop concepts that deliver results, with natural curiosity that motivates to look deep into root causes of problems. Organizational skills and attention to detail to fully execute plans. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Excellent attention to detail and focus on reporting/communication.

Annual base salary gross: $71,192-121,476. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
